'Muscle' - 2001

Living for some time in Los Angeles I took many pictures of my then girlfirend's Custom Chevy Super Nova, the muscle car used by the local police in the 1970's. In these pictures I inserted fragments of a self-portrait 3D model that I had digitally dismembered. Some of the stains and marks are just the oil leaks of the car and car park.

Whilst of course referencing a cinematic mode, the images go further into unexplored territory, that of the digital death or murder/suicide of an avatar.
