The training sequences from Rocky I and Rocky II have been placed side by side and pulled, stretched and re-edited thereby squeezing them into a near parallel situation. This revelas the striking similarities between the films where exact same locations, props, movements and actions occurr. Placed side-by-side creates another transformation; Rocky himself seems to have split into two parallel characters that occupy the same place.
